cut my nasal button out bc the swelling situation was such that my nostrils were closing up and i was on the verge of a panic attack and not thinking super clearly and then realized that my doctor obviously significantly enlarged the initial small perforation to get the button in there so now i have an unsupported 8mm hole in my septum and i'm worried my nose could collapse lmaoooo

I've seen people giving into defeatism. Please don't. Sometimes we feel strongly when under threat and we might feel doomed but remember you're not alone.
There's a lot of us carrying on for all of us and then some. A lot have already done early voting, me included, and are still working to get people outside the internet to vote (I'm way nicer offline than online apparently and have gotten people to vote, surprisingly especially in absentee voting)
Things might look terrifying regarding voting but I have a good feeling, especially after voting. Now all we can do is help keep our side informed and help them vote if they can. (Some relatives are doing car pulls to voting locations among things for people with mobility issues)
I'm usually mean af and say "Calm your ass down and fight." But I'm aware some people are really scared so I'll be nicer in tone and say that everything will be ok as long as you don't give up into this defeatism that actually can weaken us into not wanting to move forward as far as we can.
And we can go forward. Just breathe and keep moving.
